DESCRIPTION:Second edition of the Weavers’ Way ultramarathons for Norfolk in October 2024. \nA beginner friendly 50km event from Stalham to Cromer or for the more experienced ultra-runners a 50 mile eventfrom Acle to Cromer. Walkers are also very welcome. \nThe 50km will start at 9.30am with 10 hours to complete. The 50 mile event will start at 7.00am with a time of 14 hours to complete. \nThe routes follow the Weavers’ Way along the River Bure through the towns of Stalham and North Walsham to the beautiful estates of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall ending at the iconic Cromer Pier. If you haven’t yet discovered this beautiful trail in Norfolk\, you’re in for a treat! \nYour entry fee includes: \n\nA unique medal\nFood & drink at the checkpoints\nFree parking at the start locations\nGPS Tracking for the race\nFirst aid services\nA light meal and hot drinks at the finish\nPrizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd in Female and Male categories in each race.\n£1 per runner will be donated to Norfolk Trails Team towards the maintenance of Norfolk’s beautiful trails.\n\nThere is also an opportunity to purchase a T-shirt when you enter. \nWe are LGBT friendly. DESCRIPTION:A brand new ultramarathon for Norfolk in July 2024. \nA beginner friendly 50km event from Diss to Norwich along the Boudicca Way Long Distance Path.  Runners and walkers alike are welcome. \nStarting at 0830 from Diss with 10 hours to reach the finish line in Trowse\, Norwich. \nThe route follows the Boudicca Way which is parallel to the old Roman Road (now the A140)\, winding its way through the villages of Pulham Market\, Fritton\, Saxlingham\, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund . SUMMARY:Easter Challenge 2024 - 5K\, 10K\, half\, full and ultra
DESCRIPTION:You can run as much or little as you want to\, you can rest between laps if you like and head out for some more. You may be completing your first official 5k\,10k\, Half Marathon\, Full Marathon or even ultra-Marathon\, or it may be your 100th or 1000th. This race is also ideal for those who want to try and achieve a Marathon distance and for those who also want the option to push a little further\, possibly an ultra but without the complications of trail ultras\, with next to no navigation\, no kit required\, an aid station every lap and straightforward logistics. We will be utilising the Denham Flats route (road route) which is a 6.55 mile out and back sociable loop. On this course you leave the centre and go out through the Barrow Village towards Denham. At around 3km you will see Ely Cathedral in the distance. This is a super easy course to navigate

DESCRIPTION:Launching in October 2023\, two brand new ultra marathons for Norfolk show casing the beautiful Norfolk countryside and the estates of Blickling and Felbrigg Hall. \nA beginner friendly 50 km and a more challenging 50 mile route for the more experienced. Runners and walkers welcomed. Just 100 places available in each. \nGenerous cut offs mean that in the 50 mile race an average speed of 3.6 mph will get you round and in the 50km race an average speed of 3.4 mph will get you round inside the cut off.  \nWe allow spectators to meet athletes at crew points and give supplies\, food\, drink and moral support.  Our focus is on encouraging more people to fall in love with the sport of long distance trail running without feeling daunted while still enabling those at the front of the field to race hard also.  \nOur routes will be very raceable allowing for good competition for the more competitive among you and will also be spectator friendly allowing you to see your own crew 3 or more times on the route. \nThe whole ethos of our team is on helping you to achieve your goal. We are runners ourselves and understand first hand how hard these races can be. DESCRIPTION:Fields and Forest Ultra-Trail Marathon is an entry-level 34-mile ultramarathon\, taking in the beauty of Suffolk and Norfolk’s trail forest and farmland. It starts and ends at the Cricket pavilion called ‘The Grumpy Goat’ in the village of Bardwell\, Suffolk. \nThe course takes in the Beautiful West Suffolk countryside prior taking in the charm of the Norfolk woodlands which forms part of Thetford Forest at West Harling Woods before returning to the big skies and wide-open spaces of Suffolk. This event is not an overly technical route and it will be well marked. SUMMARY:Blackwater Trail Events
DESCRIPTION:With a start in Chelmsford at the end of the Chelmer and Blackwater navigation\, the route follows the waterway on a series of trail\, grass and tarmac footpaths all the way through miles of tranquil Essex countryside through to Heybridge Basin\, where the half marathon finishes.  A shuttle service will be available between the finish at Heybridge and the start at Chelmsford BEFORE the half marathon. Places on the shuttle can be booked/purchased at time of registration.  \nThe marathon distance continues through Heybridge Basin\, along the Saltmarsh coastal footpath past Goldhanger out to the Wick Nature Reserve\, Tollesbury\, where it finishes.  We will offer a shuttle service from the finish of the marathon at Tollesbury back to the start in Chelmsford BEFORE the event – tickets for which can be booked/purchased at time of registration.  \nThe Ultramarathon will continue from the marathon course and head around the coast to Salcott cum Virley where it will finish. If you wish to park in Tollesbury at the Marathon finish\, and take the marathon shuttle to the start BEFORE the event\, we will get you back to your vehicle from Salcott FOC when you have finished.  \nToilets will be available at the start\, Heybridge Basin\, Tollesbury and Salcott.\nPrices £27-£50
