Flitch Way 10k
Halsteads Karl Hillman put an injury plagued year behind him with his comeback race in Sundays Flitch Way 10k Race. Hillman who has been out injured with a serious foot injury for the past 4 months showed no signs of the injury which hampered his 2014 season. He ran a strong race to finish in 56:38. Aaron Heard put all of his hard marathon training to good measure to set a PB over the 10k course and in doing so was the first home for the club with a time of 50:57. Chairman Del Harrington and race regular Jim Leaney rounded off results to claim their bespoke finishers medal.

Colchester Castle Park Run
Julia Woolnough was the sole park run representative this weekend for the club. Julia chose the Colchester Castle Park 5k Run, which is notoriously challenging due to the hills, however that didn’t stop her from running a PB of 27:45

Halsteads’ award winning annual Marathon takes place on Sunday 10th May 2015, starting at Halsteads’ Leisure Centre. Please save the date in your diaries, a must for any local resident of Halstead to come out and support.
