PB’s Tumble at Great Bentley

Sunday’s blustery conditions didn’t deter 18 Halstead Road Runners turning out for the annual Great Bentley Half Marathon.  The popular fast and flat 13.1 mile course attracted a field of over 700 runners. Halsteads Neil Wilson was first home for the club in a time of 1:27:25, shortly followed by a group of 6 who all scored new personal bests, including Richard Candler who took a huge 20 minutes off of his previous best time.  Nicole Smith also recorded a new fantastic PB beating her previous best time by over 3minutes.
