So you like running! Do you want to run with some of the best runners in the World, in scenery that will blow your mind? Well now you can. The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation has been announced a Charity Partner of the Clearer Water Antrim Coast Half Marathon, we have 20 free charity places available so you can run for us and support teenagers and young adults with cancer at the same time. A World Athletics Elite Event, the Clearer Water Antrim Coast Half Marathon 2023 takes in some of the most stunning scenery in Europe, combined with some famous landmarks along the route.
With its flat and fast half marathon course, the race is one of the fastest half marathons in the world. Starting at the beginning of the iconic Antrim Coast Road, the course sweeps into Larne Harbour and through Larne town before moving onto the world famous Antrim Coast Road.
The coast’s stunning landscapes featuring in many movies and television series, including HBO’s Game of Thrones, who used the area extensively as one of the filming locations.
Elite runners like 6x World Champion, Genzebe Dibaba, will be taking part, alongside thousands of others and you could be part of it!
You can run the full half marathon, or you can enter as a team in the relay race, either way you will be making a difference to the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
