Halstead Road Runners fielded 3 ladies’ teams at the Essex County senior and vet road relays which took place at the seafront at Harwich over an officially measured 5km course. Doris may have done a disappearing act but conditions remained windy for racing this weekend. Hazel and Jon Buist, away for the weekend in Derbyshire, took part in a brand new half marathon and 10k race around the undulating, traffic-free trails surrounding Carsington Water Reservoir.
