It was the second annual High Easter 10k today. The race starts and finishes in this pretty rural village on a fast and flat course. There was success for the Halstead ladies at the Good Friday Sudbury Fun run with the powerful trio of Rachael Roughan, Caroliena Cameron and Mel Candler winning the ladies’ team prize. Halstead Road Runners fielded 3 ladies’ teams at the Essex County senior and vet road relays which took place at the seafront at Harwich over an officially measured 5km course.
