Boudicca way ultramarathon

A brand new ultramarathon for Norfolk in July 2024.

A beginner friendly 50km event from Diss to Norwich along the Boudicca Way Long Distance Path.  Runners and walkers alike are welcome.

Starting at 0830 from Diss with 10 hours to reach the finish line in Trowse, Norwich.

The route follows the Boudicca Way which is parallel to the old Roman Road (now the A140), winding its way through the villages of Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund . If you haven’t yet discovered this beautiful trail in Norfolk, you’re in for a treat!

Your entry fee includes:

  • A unique medal
  • Food & drink at the checkpoints
  • GPS Tracking for the race
  • First aid services
  • A light meal and hot drinks at the finish
  • Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in both Female and Male categories
  • £1 from every entry will be donated to Norfolk Trails for the maintenance and development of the trail.

There is also an opportunity to purchase a t-shirt when you enter.

Easy transport links with railway stations a short walk from the start and finish. We encourage you to use public transport or car share to limit our impact.

We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as female, male or non-binary. However, only Male and Female categories will be captured in the results for ranking purposes.
