2023 will see the Seventh running of the Harwich Runners Bromley 10k, with profits from this event going to local charities. The new course has great PB potential, with 4 of the all time top 10 times being set in 2021 and a sub 30 minute course record. The race itself comprises a single fully marshalled anti-clockwise lap of a road course through the Essex countryside.
For 2023 we are again offering an optional donation to plant trees/hedge plants that will be along the course in an attempt to increase habitat and ecological diversity in an arable area. To complete this we need to buy 725 trees.
Entry limit has been increased to 750 Runners, but please enter early as we expect to sell out & entry on the day is unlikely. Wheelchair entries are welcomed and will be given a short head start to ensure a clear run. Cost is £10.00, unaffiliated runners £12.00. Price includes chip timed race results, prizes, distance markers on a marshaled race route with a water station.
