What is there to do when you need to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III? RUN of course! Come and join us for our coronation weekend events and choose from a 5, 10 or 15mi fast trail course with only 141ft of ascent. The predominantly flat, traffic free looped trail course, will give you the opportunity to run either 5, 10 or 15 miles. The course will be a 5mi loop and those running the 10 & 15 mile events will run multiple loops after returning to the aid station after the first loop. The run course will head out towards Gosbecks Archealogical Park and the Roman River Valley trails.
As with all of our events, the events will be chip timed and will be run in accordance with UK Athletics guidelines and under a race permit from the UK TRA.
PLEASE NOTE – In an attempt to reduce our race-day plastic waste, this is a CUPLESS event! We will provide all drinks and refreshments as per our usual aid stations, but you will need to provide a receptacle of some description. It can be a reusable cup, soft flask or whatever vessel you choose, even your very own running shoe, but we won’t be providing any cups at all, and there will be no drinking from jugs either! We will, of course, be more than happy to assist you with the filling of whatever you choose, as normal. If you wish, you are able to purchase a Hydrapak Speedcup online as part of your registration, or on race day for £2.50.
An opportunity to run on a traffic free trail course and with the usual standard of H&T sought after, unique, bespoke medal, this promises to be a fantastic friendly event for runners of all abilities. Prices £18-£28
