The Langham 10km is organised by the Friends Of Langham School (FOLS), a charitable organisation. The route winds through picturesque Constable countryside and attracts around 500 runners. The big team event, and one of the highlights for Essex running clubs, is the annual Essex Way Relay starting in Epping and finishing 81 miles later in Harwich. Ian Chandler took on the SVP100 on Saturday. The Stour Valley Path (SVP) is a 100km (62 mile) long footpath starting in Newmarket in Suffolk and ending near Manningtree in Essex. We had a couple of firsts this weekend. Mel Candler was first lady at Great Notley parkrun on Saturday. The parkrun were celebrating their 3rd birthday and we are also very proud of our Octogenarian Brian Collins who was named runner up Most Inspirational parkrunner.
