The Ridley Round took place on 19th September. This is a 13 mile trail run which takes in five pubs. Several Halstead Road Runners took part in warm, sunny conditions.
Paul Hinsley came home first for Halstead finishing in 17th position in a time of 2:32:28.

John Warne ran in the Hare and Tortoise Next Chapter event. This was run at Layer Marnay towers and consisted of a 2.65 mile loop which could be run as many times as you wanted within 6 hours. John chose to do a half marathon (5 laps) in 2:24:11. He then did another lap for fun.
On 27th September Treena Carder and Phil Jeffries ran the Essex Trail Events trail run Don’t Hit The Wall. This was a 14 mile event and conditions were overcast and very windy. They completed it in 2:45:25.
Nathan and Jo Roulson travelled to Goodwood. Jo ran the half marathon in 2:04:00.
Nathan ran the marathon and got a PB of 2:59:36. He finished first in the V45 category, 15th male and 17th overall. Amazing time in such windy conditions.
