Thank you too all runners who entered this years marathon! We appreciate your continued support for our race, the runners, supporters and especially the marshals make for a fantastically friendly marathon atmosphere. As our race director, Keith Thorogood, says “it’s a race for runners, put on by runners”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in organising Sunday’s race. This was my 4th Halstead & just when I think that it can’t get any better it does. The positive feedback on Runners World is a testament to all the hard work & dedication that you put into making this a must do race. There is a real passion & soul to the Halstead that big events like the VLM can’t hope to emulate & the thought & attention to detail make this a true runner’s race. This year’s medal with the names of previous winners on the ribbon just says it all. As a real ale drinker, the beer was particularly welcome & I will even wear my pink top with pride.
