Another weekend of racing for HRR, with members taking on road and trail events across Suffolk and Essex. From the fast-paced Felixstowe 5 to the scenic but challenging Toppesfield trails, our runners took on the challenge.
FELIXSTOWE FRIDAY NIGHT 5 MILE
Well done to Simon Miller, who took on the Felixstowe Friday Night 5 and finished with a great time of 39:07. A fantastic run — well-deserved chips at the finish! Brilliant effort, Simon!
TOPPESFIELD 20 TRAILS
Five HRR runners hit the trails at Toppesfield on Monday, taking on both the 10 mile and 10K routes. In the 10 mile race: Karen Pickering led the way with a strong 1:26:04. Andy Carter followed in 1:37:49. Caroliena Cameron came through in 1:48:26. Over on the 10K course: Wendy Carter and Lisa Rodbourn ran together, finishing in 1:08:43
HATFIELD BROAD OAK 10K
John Warne took on the HBO 10K. He finished in 59:36 and was pleased with the time as he wanted to get under the hour. Great running all round.
ARMEGEDDON
Andy Wilmot took on the Armegeddon trail marathon, 8 laps in 6:25.
