Mersea Round The Island race is an approximately 13 mile trail run following the sea wall and beaches around the island. Five Halstead Road Runners undertook the race in warm conditions.
Gary Freear completed it in 1:38:00
Caroliena Cameron finished in 2:05:00
Nick McKean came in at 2:18:00
Anthony Denton and Kris Bell ran together finishing in 2:20:00
A small contingent also took on the Steeple Bumstead 10k which is a multi terrain route. The course is hilly and again conditions were very warm.
Sandi Robinson-Miller came in at 0:54:21 coming 5th in her age category.
Emma Healy completed it in 0:54:29
Victoria Metson completed it in 0:54:40 and was also 5th in her age category.
Tony Rivers took part in the Cornard Park Run and came 2nd in his age category completing it in 0:31:23
