HRR didn’t only have XC on our radar this weekend, we also had some of our finest, long distance loving runners doing their thing!

DUBLIN MARATHON
Ian Wingrove ran a very VERY wet Dublin Marathon on Sunday. Starting and finishing in the heart of Dublin city, the marathon features a fast and flat course. Ian had a phenomenal race and finished 58th in his age category and 220th place out of 16,677 people overall. He crossed the line with a shiny new PB of 2:47:39. Incredible running Ian!

STORT 30
The Stort 30 is a very pretty out and back 30 miles (15 miles each way) along the Stort Navigation in Hertfordshire. HRR had 3 runners there on Sunday. Running a very special race in memory of her mum, Karen Pickering had an incredible race. She finished in 2nd place overall and was First Lady home in 4:02.48. Running his first ultra, Glynn stone finished strong in 5:18.42. Running his 107th marathon, Neil Addington had a tough race with cramp setting in at mile 20. Neil persevered and finished in 6:52.20.

Well done all!
