A beautiful weekend for running, we had a few HRR hitting the trails.
JANE HOPKINS MEMORIAL TRAIL
This 5.8 mile trail was in aid of Havens Hospices.
Held at Little Haven Nature Reserve in Benfleet, the self-guided 5.8-mile walk, jog, or run honoured the late Jane Hopkins. Participants followed a narrative trail through ancient woodlands, spotting wildlife along the way. The event was non-competitive and open to all ages, with proceeds supporting the vital work of Havens Hospices.

LANGHAM HALL ESTATE 5k and 10k
At the scenic Langham Hall Estate in Colchester, runners took on a challenging 10K trail course to raise funds for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. The race featured steep inclines and warm weather, definitely testing the endurance of all. Aidan Kelly ran the 2k race with son Luke before running the 5k. He then ran half of the 5k with daughter Brenna before pushing on to finish 12th in 26:27. Brenna Kelly finished in 29:52, 24th overall.

Simon Ford finished in 7th place
John Warne finished in 1:06:49.
