The sun has been shining and with a hint of spring in the air, there were a few roadrunners making the most of the pleasant running conditions.

RUN LONDON VICTORIA PARK 10k
Victoria Park is Britain’s oldest public park. Opened in 1845 it is known as “ The People’s Park” and it hosted the ‘Run London 10k’ event on Sunday. Having been training hard for the last few weeks, Joe Slee was chasing a PB when he took on the fast, flat route which was made up of 3 laps of the eastern side of the park. Joe crossed the line in 39:54 getting himself a sub 40 minute 10k and a PB of 2minutes 30seconds. Excellent running Joe!

MARATHON
Andy Wilmot was back at Suffolk running centre on Saturday to complete marathon number 829. Although the sun was out it was a little windy and Andy finished in 5:29.

PARKRUN
