Andy Wilmot has been out running marathons again with the Suffolk Running Centre. On Saturday he completed in 4:49:00 and on Sunday in 4:57:00. Both were road marathons in breezy conditions.
Andy Carter ran the Clare parkrun on Saturday and completed it in 0:23:56 which gave him a first position in the MV60 category.
Great Bentley Half Marathon was the big race of the weekend with several Halstead Road Runners competing in dry but windy conditions.
Tom Porter got a PB by 1 minute in 1:25:57 and finished 13th in the M40 category.
Steve May got a PB by 5.5 minutes in 1:29:21
Dan Hollinshead got a PB in 1:30:15 getting very close to breaking the 1:30:00 mark.
Rachael Roughan ran in 1:39:06 and finished 14th in the F1-39 category.
Kelly Judge continued her run of PB’s improving by 5 minutes in a time of 1:43:38.
Mandy Humm got a PB by 4 minutes finishing in 1:51:28

Leigh-Anne Porter 2:03:18
John Warne 2:07:16 which placed him 3rd in the M65 category.
Debbie Partridge also got a PB in a time of 2:23:05.
Gavin Allen was also running as a Springfield Strider and finished in 9th position overall in a time of 1:14:22 which also placed him 2nd in the M45 category.
