A very wet Saturday leading to some very muddy conditions… it didn’t stop HRR. So many dedicated runners out doing their weekend running, well done to all those who didn’t let the rain stop them doing park run, long runs, XCountry or just runs in general!!
We had two roadrunners out competing …
RAYNE TWISTER
Phil Jeffries, (warming himself up for the cross country on Sunday) took part in the Rayne Twister on Saturday, hosted by Mid Essex Casuals. It was a self navigation trail with alot of rain and alot of mud. There were 2 distances to choose from, 6.2 miles and 3.2 miles. Phil did the 3.2 mile course and finished in 3rd position in a time of 39:35.
BENFLEET 15
Keely Jordan was out on Sunday running the 32nd Benfleet 15 race. A challenging 15 mile, multi-terrain course, incorporating sections of the Canvey Island sea wall, and the undulating Hadleigh Downs. It was cold, windy and ridiculously muddy but Keely ran another outstanding race, finishing overall in 99th position out of 635 and was 4th lady home out of 201.
Another superb weekend of running for all.
