Andy Wilmot has been out running double marathons again at the Cherry Blossom Marathon. On Saturday he did 5:03:00 and on Sunday ran 5:01:00.
Sunday saw the last cross country fixture of the season in the Ellisons Solicitors cross country league. Halstead had a low turn out but managed a full womens team with Rachael Roughan finishing in 9th position, Wendy Carter in 30th and Emma Healy in 36th. The men needed six for a full team but only put out three with Steve May finishing in 42nd, Don English in 98th and Andy Carter in 105th.
The Cambridge Half Marathon also took place on Sunday.
