Kate and Alan Barnard have been representing Halstead Road Runners in the Lake District this weekend completing the Coniston 14 run around Lake Coniston. 1600 runners took part in the 14 mile race on an undulating course in beautiful scenery. Kate completed it in 2:26 and Alan completed it in 1:48.
The Essex Road Championship race, Braintree 5, took place on Sunday. The course was slightly undulating with a bit of a breeze.

Several Team members also completed the Thaxted trail half marathon on Sunday which was a 13.1 mile course following written instructions around undulating countryside on footpaths and trails.
