The very popular, very flat Great Bentley Half Marathon delivered another great day of racing, with plenty of strong performances across the board. From training runs to PBs, it was a strong show from the club on a fast, friendly course.
First HRR runner home was Matt Thomas, stopping the clock at 1:21:42 to place 35th overall.
Not far behind, James North crossed in 1:25:17, knocking 13 seconds off his PB with a strong run.
A consistent effort saw Stewart Ellis finish in 1:31:55.
Close on his heels, Luis Betancourt Canas ran 1:32:13.
Using the race as a controlled training run, Rachael Roughan came home in 1:37:43.
With Malta Marathon just three weeks away, Perry James clocked 1:38:05 as part of his build-up.
A standout PB of just over 7 minutes came from Ryan Miller, finishing in 1:45:32.
Another steady run followed from Mark Darling in 1:49:19.
Feeling good throughout, this was a PB and a strong training run for Noush Springett, who finished in 1:52:28.
Also treating the race as a training effort, Ross Kemble crossed in 1:54:55.
A great PB during a training run came from Emily Bentley, finishing in 1:55:57. Her longest run in a very long time.
Keeping things consistent, Gav Ripton completed the course in 1:56:08.
It was a training run for Emma Healy and Victoria Metson finishing in 1:57:49.
A strong finish saw Chloe Randall home in 2:02:17.
Another training run ticked off for Sam Hillyard, finishing in 2:08:42.
Rounding out the day, Paul Carter showed real determination to complete the course in 2:23:00.
