A brilliant day on the trails at the Bury to Clare Challenge, a point-to-point 18-mile scenic run through the Suffolk countryside from Nowton Park to Clare Castle Country Park in support of St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Well-organised, friendly atmosphere, great support on route, and a varied mix of tracks, fields, and quiet lanes. HRR had three runners representing the club.
Ladies Captain Bec Gilroy had a great run, finishing in 3:17.36.
Sarah Waddington was close behind in 3:25.23.
Penny Clarke completed the trio with a strong finish in 4:20.
A fantastic effort from all three on a challenging course.
