Ben Ryder and Aidan Kelly were at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic park on Wednesday evening for the RunThrough ‘Chase the moon’ event. A fast and undulating course around the London 2012 Olympic village. Running next to the famous Olympic Rings and the Velodrome, the course had huge PB potential. The HRR boys did not disappoint!! They were quite literally chasing the moon with Ben clocking 38:59, securing himself another PB and finishing 5th out of 47 in the senior men’s category. Even more impressive that he’d recently run the Watford Half marathon on Sunday in PB time. Aidan Kelly, currently training for Manchester marathon and running on tired legs finished in 46:39 coming 6th in the men’s V50 category. This is his fastest official 10k time.
