We had 4 more roadrunners out flying the flag over the festive period.
ACTIVE TRAINING WORLD
Taking place at Northern gateway in Colchester on Tuesday, this traffic free, tarmac course with no sharp bends, provided a great opportunity for PBs. Chris Lloyd not only secured himself a PB in the 10k race but also a podium place finishing in 38:15, 2nd place out of 44 runners. Rachel Rising took part in the fast 5k and completed in a fantastic time of 19:30.
TWIXMAS TRAIL EVENT
Treena Carder and Phil Jeffries ran the Twixmas trail event at Layer De La Haye also on Tuesday. A self navigation run using a written route description issued on the day. They ran the 4.6 mile race together finishing in 51:17. What a great action shot of them both!!
