Hills, Hills and more Hills

Sam Wolton travelled down to Dartmoor to take part in the Dartmoor Discovery Ultra race. The road race is just over 32 miles long and takes in some of the toughest hills Dartmoor has to offer. Sam completed it in 6:21:43.

Choosing to run a slightly shorter distance a small group of Halstead Road Runners took part in the Clare Park Run. The course is a very pretty, almost flat circuit around Clare Castle park and runners have to do three laps to complete the 5K distance.

A few hardy souls undertook the Stour Valley Trail Marathon on Sunday and conditions were very hot for it.
