A busy weekend of races for HRR and some great medals up for grabs!
ATW REMEMBRANCE RUNS
HRR had a small team over at carver barracks on Saturday taking part in the remembrance runs. A bright, sunny day but absolutely freezing with the wind chill. There was a choice of 5k, 10k and half marathon distance. A flat and fast course and participants get the added bonus of an aeroplane map on their strava!! Running the 5k distance was Vikki Suett, and what a run she had! Vikki finished 7th place overall and was first lady back in a PB time of 18:50. Taking on the 10k, Stephen Metson had a superb run finishing 6th place overall with a new PB of 38:36. Jo Norris is going from strength to strength and had another great race. Jenny suffered a slight injury towards the end of the race but persevered and finished in 2:13.52.
