It was a chilly start to the HRR cross country at Gosfield on Sunday with the junior team running first. As usual they did us proud, finishing with smiles and ready to cheer the adults on! First to cross the line for Halstead boys team was Ben Martin in 24th place, closely followed by Felix Whale in 28th position. Toby metson was next in 38th and Jacob Root finished in 42nd place. In his debut Cross country for HRR and completing the boys line up was Jacob Pickering in 46th position. Amalie Twydell was first to finish for the Halstead girls in 11th position with Martha May close behind in 13th. Hannah Root was next in 30th place with Evelyn Roulson completing the team in 32nd position. Well done to all.
