The Ridley Round took place on 19th September. This is a 13 mile trail run which takes in five pubs. Several Halstead Road Runners took part in warm, sunny conditions. The SVP50/100 took place this Saturday 15th August. This is a 50/100km ultra run from Newmarket (100km Start) or Sudbury (50km Start) to Brantham along the Stour Valley Path. Andy Wilmot has been running back to back marathons this weekend at the Suffolk Running Centre. On Saturday he completed in 5:02:00. A new running route has been established that follows the River Colne from its source to the sea.
