Great Bentley Half Marathon 2020

The Essex County Veterans Cross Country Championship race took place on Saturday at Writtle College. Competitors had to be 40+ to compete in the 5 mile race which was run around muddy fields. Sunday was a perfect day for racing. Gavin Allen and Gary Freear took advantage at Chelmsford 10k with Gavin finishing 2nd in the Vets Category, 8th place overall in 0:34:49 and Gary getting a PB of 0:38:15.
