MANCHESTER MARATHON

What a weekend for HRR. A team of 24 runners plus support crew headed to Manchester to run the Manchester marathon and relay half marathon. Lots of highs and lots of laughs. WINDY WEATHER RACING 

The sun may have been shining but an extremely windy weekend made for tough racing conditions. MAVERICK SUFFOLK TRAIL Treena Carder and Phil Jeffries took part in this 9km trail race on Saturday in Rendlesham Forest. HARGRAVE 10K

Phil Jeffries and Treena Carder ran the Hargrave 10k Cross Country on Saturday. A gently undulating countryside route near Bury st Edmunds. The sunshine filled morning was deceptive and they were hit by a hail storm complete with thunder and lightning. They ran together and finished in 1:05.43.

A DAY OF TWO HALFS!!

LAST XC OF THE SEASON

Sunday saw the last race of the Ness XC league race season at Hadleigh in Suffolk. A 2 lap course well known for its challenging hills was made even tougher by the constant rain turning the course into a mud bath in places and making running very difficult.
